Portfolio Prophet

Advertising mentor/life coach offering up advice from a real life art director with 20 years of experience and no writing skills.

The idea for Portfolio Prophet emerged from one of my core principles: IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GREAT PROJECT, MAKE ONE. Mentorship is scarce in the advertising world, and over the years, I've learned many lessons—some the hard way, and others that are rarely discussed.

This inspired me to create the Portfolio Prophet Instagram account to share these insights authentically and creatively. I created all the illustrations from my extensive digital archive and set out to convey these lessons through engaging writing.
