
I’d been sitting on the BikeDesk idea for a while. When our CCO asked for ways to promote the agency, I tossed out a few concepts. Polite pass. Then I showed him this. Instant yes.
We built it for Bike to Work Week—to promote Havas Chicago, but also to make the point in the loudest possible way: biking doesn’t have to be a separate “thing.” It can just be part of your day.
I rode it around the city on purpose—because if you can get people to look up and smile, you can get them to think, “Maybe I could bike, too.” The goal was to inspire people to slow down, explore their city, and commute by bike.
